Ready to move beyond “doing” yoga so you can actually deepen your practice?

Over the next few months I’m hosting four online workshops, each one designed to help you think more critically, practice more intelligently, and integrate yoga beyond your weekly classes.

01

Inhale. Exhale. Repeat.

Five ways to work with your breath both on and off your yoga mat.

This isn’t a pranayama workshop. It’s a practical exploration of how breathing actually works - both anatomically and energetically.

I’m not going to teach you Nadi Shodhana or Square Breath. Instead, I’ll show you how to work with your breath in a more functional (and beneficial) way - so whether you’re doing sun salutations, or stuck in a traffic jam, you can make the most of your inhales and exhales.

Re-thinking Yoga Alignment.

Anatomy need-to-knows that will instantly change the way you practice asana.

02

In this workshop I’ll share five anatomy insights that will transform how you practice (or teach) some of yoga’s most common postures.

It’s not always about skill or effort - sometimes it’s simply the shape of your skeleton that dictates whether an asana is easy, challenging, or actually impossible. We’ll explore what this means in practice, as well as looking beyond the bones to understand how your brain is really the boss of movement.

03

The Brain-Body-Breath Connection.

How ancient yogic frameworks align with modern science.

A practical look at the pancha kosha framework, and how this mind-body model from thousands of years ago, is actually echoed by our modern understanding of the brain, body and nervous system.

After exploring the theory, we’ll look at how to apply these principles in real life - working with both science and spirituality to support your physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing.

Yoga Philosophy for the Modern World.

Before self-help books, there were the Sutras.

I’ll share five of my favourite sutras that have had the greatest impact on me as both a student and teacher, but more importantly, as a human being navigating the ups and downs of daily life - just like everyone else.

Together we’ll explore how this ancient wisdom remains deeply relevant - from managing your mind-chatter, understanding your habits, and finding balance beyond Tree Pose.

These workshops are for you if…

You’re craving more than a weekly class.

You want to learn the why behind the what and apply it in a way that actually impacts how you move, breathe, and think.

You’re curious about the different dimensions of yoga.

From the wisdom of yogic philosophy, through to individual anatomy, and modern-day discoveries about the brain-body-breath connection.

You’ve reached a plateau in your practice.

If your practice feels a little flat or overly familiar, this will give you a new perspective, renewed excitement, and a clearer understanding of what yoga is all about.

You’re seeking clarity and confidence.

Whether that’s questioning common alignment cues, or using yoga philosophy to make your everyday life less stressful.

You’re ready to move beyond “doing” yoga.

And excited to start integrating it with intention (and a deeper understanding) both on and off your mat.

You’re ready to question what you’ve been taught (or what you teach).

I don’t believe in Downward-Facing Dogma. I embrace an “it depends” approach that accounts for context and nuance. Sometimes you need to un-learn something un-helpful before you can truly deepen your practice. That’s what I’m here to help with.

Hi, I’m Jess!

I’m excited to share my love of yoga with you during these workshops.

With almost a decade of full-time teaching experience and thousands of hours of study, I specialise in yoga education for curious students who are craving more than a 60-minute class.

I’m here to help you explore yoga beyond the poses in a way that’s engaging, enlightening, and refreshingly human.
